Miguel Arrieta is the name we present to you in Omicron Records fifth release. Two dancefloor tracks full of techno, synth lines and electronic landscapes. Miguel Arrieta, musician born in Zaragoza (Spain) and living now in Barcelona, has performed all over the Spanish geography. For his first EP at Omicron, Miguel brings the kind of cosmic sounds and futurism we all know from classic science-fiction films as well as energetic and positive rythms for the dancefloor. News from a modern world could be defined as Techno energy with Trance emotions. It will take you to a city full of droids and skyscrapers, a bright uchronic utopia were benign aliens help Humanity reach the stars. Questions has a harder beat and keeps an elegant flow of pads and chords from the beginning to the end. a complex machinery of beats and robotic voices that build up to a melodic explosion. This time Dennis deSantis, known for his appearances in labels like Kanzleramt or Coccoon, collaborates with us bringing a remix. He turns News from another world into a deep, bass driven and groovy techno house track.
